We Care For You Charity partnered with Shraddha Charity Organization as our intermediary to support the project Cleanup Sri Lanka in their mission to tackle the pressing environmental consequences linked to non-biodegradable plastic and rubber waste.
Every day, our environment faces the burden of non-biodegradable plastics and rubber waste. These materials wreck our precious ecosystems, polluting our oceans, rivers, and lands. Future generations are at risk of inheriting a world filled with harmful substances.

About the Cleanup Sri Lanka Project
The proyect functions across the island simultaneously, with teams established in each province responsible for gathering non-biodegradable waste and ensuring it is disposed of correctly. This effort involves local youth and schools collaborating in small groups throughout the island. They concentrate on three main areas and actively engage in different cleaning activities to show their dedication to protecting the environment.
This project aims to tackle the environmental consequences related to non-biodegradable plastic and rubber waste by promoting an environmentally conscious mindset within the current generation. The ultimate objective is to safeguard future generations from the adverse effects of these materials.
