To build a livelihood, to fulfill duties, and to live without being a burden to society, education is the foundation to achieve these goals. The support given by parents for their children’s education and guiding them to achieve set goals is immense. However, due to financial constraints faced by parents, providing their children with a quality education maybe somewhat difficult. Therefore to support talented children who are facing financial hardships, WeCareForYou Charity use Shraddha Charity Organization in Sri Lanka as the intermediary to achieve the goal. Seruwila Food Scholarship Program – Sri Lanka

We Care For You Charity partnered with Shraddha Charity Organization to support the Seruwila Food Scholarship Program in Sri Lanka. Through this initiative and the help of generous donors, from January to April 2025, we have provided nutritious meals to students from two local schools: Nelum Pre-school and Veeramuthu Pre-School
These meals are intended to improve the daily nutrition of both students and staff, helping to create a healthier and more focused learning environment. Donation of Sport Items for Students in Sri Lanka

On January 9th, 2025, We Care For You Charity donated sports equipment to support students from the Mahamevnawa Buddhist College in Sri Lanka. The items provided have empowered students to achieve remarkable success in activities such as badminton, volleyball, cricket, basketball, gymnastics, swimming, roller skating, chess, tug-of-war, and karate. These achievements not only brighten their futures but also elevate the reputation of their school.

Donation of School Supplies for Students in Sri Lanka

On January 5, 2025, We Care For You Charity in collaboration with Shraddha Charity Organization provided vital educational support to 62 students at the Thalassemia Unit of the Polonnaruwa Teaching Hospital in Sri Lanka, exceeding our initial target.
Thanks to your generosity, we utilized LKR 210,000 (equivalent to $ 1,000.00 CAD) to distribute essential school supplies for the 2025 school year. This meaningful project was made possible by the incredible contributions and unwavering support of our community. We share all the merit collected with our teacher, Pinwath Lokuswaminwahanse and we also share merits with all devas, with all monks and nuns; we share all the merit with kids, youth, parents and with all donors and volunteers. |

Laptop Donation Initiative to Deserving Students

On February 19, 2024, We Care For You Charity, through their Laptop Donation initiative, was able to provide a brand new laptop to a well-deserving student from the Kalutara District in Sri Lanka, who had been accepted to the University of Moratuwa - Institute of Technology, in the Marine Engineering Technology Program. Thanks to a generous donation of $896.30 CAD (LKR 208,000), he received a MSI MODERN 15 Laptop.
On April 10, 2024, We Care For You Charity, through their Laptop Donation initiative was able to provide a second brand new laptop and additional laptop components to a deserving undergraduate student at Uva Wellassa University of Sri Lanka. Thanks to a generous donation of $948.35 CAD (LKR 208,700), she received a MSI MODERN 15 Laptop model, Wifi Hotspot Pocket Router, 32GB PenDrive and Tune500 wired Headphone. On August 27, 2024, We Care For You Charity, through their Laptop Donation initiative was able to provide a new laptop to a meritorious student of the University of Jaffna in Sri Lanka. Thanks to a generous donation of $862.30 CAD (LKR 191,000), the student received an ASUS A1504V laptop model. |

In January 2023, Generous donors made the donations of SLR 400,363.48 towards the school supplies for students in Sri Lanka! SCO as our intermediary purchased many school supplies and donated them among the students in the Nallur Village and hundreds of students in Sri Lanka.

Donated Laptops to Mahamevnawa Government Buddhist College in Sri Lanka

In January 2022, a group of generous people donated 25 laptop computers to WeCareForYou Charity. We donated them to the Mahamevnawa Government Buddhist College 358/A, Keragala Road, Ahugammana, Demalagama, Sri Lanka. Shipping cost was also donated by the members. They safely arrived in Sri Lanka. These laptop computers will be used by the students to improve their knowledge. The principle, Mr. G.R.C.K Gamlath thanked all the donors adding that this donation will help many students to become experts in computer technology which will make their future bright.
