Natural disaster relief
People get so helpless when they lose everything in a natural disaster. As all of them are victims no one is there to help people in such situations. According to the teachings of the Gauthama Buddha, this is a perfect time to help people.
Our past projects
Sri Lanka Flood Relief (2025)
In November 2025, severe torrential rains and floods triggered by Cyclone Ditwah across Sri Lanka displaced families, damaged homes, and left many communities without access to basic necessities. In response, We Care For You Charity launched a fundraising campaign to provide immediate humanitarian support to those most affected.
With the generous support of our donors and community, we raised $50,301.01 CAD to deliver essential relief supplies to flood-affected families. Working closely with our trusted local partner, Thawathinsa Yathra in Malabe, Sri Lanka, we ensured that aid reached those in greatest need in a timely and dignified manner.
We thank and share the merits of this compassionate act with all who contributed. Every donation, act of kindness, and message of support played a role in restoring hope, resilience, and a sense of solidarity within affected communities.
This project stands as a powerful reminder of what is possible when compassion and community come together in times of crisis.
Thanks to your kind donations, we are distributing the following items:
